Poker strategy
Once one advertising agency became the participant of competition
for the right to develop an advertising campaign of one world famous firm. The
presentation material developed by creative staff was good enough but two more
very large companies participated in competition too and chances for a victory
were rather illusive. After presentation the business supper should take place
where representatives of firm assumed to declare the winner. Creative director
of a firm was honored to return a verdict. During the culmination moment when
a name of the winner should be just about announced a waiter approached the
creative director and in an emphatic manner gave a visiting card with the trademark
of firm- competitor of advertising customer. The waiter in a low voice, but
distinctly enough, transmitted the request to contact the owner of the card
immediately to talk about promotional materials that were prepared for competitors.
In five minutes after short whispering representatives of firm have declared
the winner? It was the company that it was narrated about. At office after a
small party with champagne creative director have asked how has he managed to
get the order. And the last has answered: « I love poker. My Poker strategy
helped me, then Poker strategy again, after this Poker strategy as well, and
again Poker strategy, Poker strategy, Poker strategy. And everything was finished
with Poker strategy too ».
